Working with the development team you will be responsible for the quality and stability of the title through all stages of development. You will be integrated with development where you will provide direct support to each member of the team which can range from testing new content, providing analysis on issues or addressing errors and maintaining the database.
In addition to providing QA support to development members you will be responsible for communicating game design basics to other offsite test teams to ensure QA understand the functionality and intended design of a feature.

**Requirements**:

- A keen interest in computer games with the ability to familiarise with game-play elements quickly.
- Good problem solving/analytical skills, strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Self-motivated/Self-starter who can work well within a team-oriented environment as well as independently.
- Understanding the role of quality assurance and principles of software/game testing.
- IT knowledge (MS Office) and the ability to quickly learn new tools.

**Nice to have**:

- Previous experience in Quality Assurance or within the Games industry is beneficial.
- Experience using game engines is helpful but not essential as training will be given.
- A games-related degree
- Manual Functionality testing of new/existing features and components
- Creating and maintaining Testplans and other test relevant documentation
- Entering detected defects into the bug database following the department-wide reporting standards
- Providing constructive and qualitative feedback to developers, helping to with reproducing issues
- Regression & rechecks of code changes / bug fixes
- Informing the Test Manager about test progress and issues
