We are looking for a QA Tester to join the 1x2 Network Test Team, based at our Office in Brighton and reporting directly to the Test & Compliance Manager. You will be joining the current 1X2 Network Test Team in providing QA testing against a range of online gambling games.

**The Position**
As QA Tester, you will be primarily working with the Games Development Teams in our Brighton Office. You will be responsible for scoping out, writing, and executing all test cases related to new games, throughout the Game Design lifecycle. This will include tests for both Back and Front-End Design, on mobile and desktop devices. You will additionally provide testing resource for the Team on other testing activities, as and when required. This will include some planned Operational Testing at times, as directed.
It will be your responsibility to test multiple games thoroughly. Utilising tools such as Jira and Test Rail. The main area of focus will be designing and executing tests for new game functionality, ensuring the Test Team have suitable test cases within Test Rail to complete thorough and exhaustive testing during the latter stages of the game process. The role will include creating test-cases, managing, and reporting any defects or issues in a timely fashion.
**Responsibilities**
- Work with the Test and Compliance Manager to define, develop and implement testing practice for the company.
- Help support junior members of the testing team.
- Report on all testing, and keep stakeholders updated on the quality of both individual components (e.g. specific games).
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and other testers in a distributed team environment to define and implement business facing integrations with suitable manual tests, as well as utilising appropriate tools to assure build quality.
- Champion good testing practices including requirements elicitation, acceptance test definition, test writing, exploratory testing, and possess the ability to deal effectively with uncertainty and alternative points of view.
- Undertake exploratory as well as structured manual testing.
- Develop and enhance automated tests where appropriate.
- Lead investigations into defects and potential exploits of the system.
- Raise, track, and have ownership of issues through to resolution.
**Desired Experience**
- Good knowledge of software testing fundamentals
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Well organised and able to prioritise
- Manual testing experience
- Jira and Test Rail or similar
- Integration, System and E2E testing in an Agile environment.
- ISEB/ISTQB qualification
**Bonus Experience**
- Gambling based game or mathematical background
- Some software testing experience and knowledge
- Languages testing experience
- Automation testing
- Have a solid background in testing
- Be able to work under pressure
- Have willingness to get learn and have a ‘can do’ attitude
- Have strong English writing skills.
- Inquisitive, willing to learn and ability to learn quickly
