The purpose of this role is to support the planning and execution of the tasks and project-driven initiatives of the President´s Office in Sony Europe.

Reporting to the Director of the President’s Office, you will play a pivotal role in the effective coordination of cyclical tasks such as organizing business meetings and key events as well as proactively contributing to cross-functional projects that represent a significant part of the responsibilities of the overall team.

The role will suit an ambitious self-starter with a background in marketing, business management or equivalent experience. Given the strategic nature of the department and the exposure to stakeholders in our Tokyo Headquarters, we are looking for a fluent Japanese speaker.

You will
- Organize and support cyclical business meetings such as Monthly Country Meetings and Budget meetings, coordinating with senior stakeholders across Europe and Tokyo Headquarters
- Support the organization of the annual European Sales & Marketing conference and other key events in Tokyo
- Assist with the operational aspects of departmental projects, including data analysis
- Provide general support to the President’s Office, including administrative tasks, for the effective running of the department
- Work as a team player to streamline and optimize ways of working.

You will bring
- Excellent organization and administrative skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience working with and analyzing large data sets
- Familiarity with a professional business environment and related activities, processes and documentation
- Demonstrable IT skills including a high level of competence with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- The ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and fast-moving environment
- Excellent command of the English and Japanese language
- Self-initiative and resourcefulness with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and cultural awareness, comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders
- Eagerness to learn and a growth mindset.
