**About the Payroll Manager role**:
You will oversee the Payroll Team and ensure that we deliver a high quality and person centred service to our customers. This includes responsibility for Direct Payment clients who purchase a payroll service from Vibrance as part of our portfolio of Self-DirectedSupport Services (SDS), as well as the monthly Vibrance Payroll and its subsidiaries.

You will work closely with Individual Employers, Personal Assistants (PAs) and funding authorities to enable people to have choice and control over how their support needs are met.

**Your responsibilities as our Payroll Manager will include**:

- Managing the provision and development of an efficient, effective and proactive payroll team.
- Leading the day-to-day delivery of the payroll function for the SDS Payrolls and the internal Payrolls of Vibrance and HAIL
- Ensuring that Vibrance payroll service adheres to its legal, contractual and corporate responsibilities.
- Collating and analysing data as required by service users, commissioners and Vibrance
- Reviewing and developing financial procedures and processes
- Continually monitoring and updating the Payroll function to ensure compliance with legislation and Vibrance policy
- Supporting the growth and development of the service, including contributing towards tenders, new business proposals and implementing new contracts.
- Working collaboratively with the Finance Manager (SDS) to ensure that the two functions work together in a supportive and proactive manner.
- Working in partnership with the SDS Information & Guidance Teams to ensure that we deliver a qualitative and joined-up service to our customers.

**Skills and experience of our ideal Payroll Manager**:

- Minimum of 3 years leadership and management experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working within a payroll environment
- Experience of processing multi-company payroll, start to finish
- Highly IT literate with excellent Excel skills
