**Job Description**:
- SLR’s Air Quality team has enjoyed strong growth over recent years, with a wealth of new talent joining at Project and Senior grades. To help continue the successful growth the team has enjoyed over recent years, we are seeking experienced Air Quality professionals who are able to support us in developing new client relationships and business capabilities, whilst maintaining an active role in technical output, project management and delivery.
- SLR’s “One Team” culture is at the heart of our business. It encourages collaborative working within a supportive environment and is central to further plans to expand. You will be joining as part of a single, region-wide Air Quality team, with existing expertise allowing you to ensure project delivery of new work to the highest standards.
- SLR offers an enviable range of 31 individual Environmental, Advisory and Engineering technical disciplines, again all working in unison; so the range of services which we are able to offer clients is unrivalled; and cross discipline collaborative working and breadth of expertise available is key to SLR’s ongoing success. The role presents a great opportunity to combine SLR’s existing resources with your own expertise and knowledge, and to play a key role in shaping how the team grows moving forward.
- We are flexible regarding where the person joins geographically - we have team members in our Exeter, Bristol, Bradford on Avon and Manchester offices where you would work alongside other AQ professionals, but equally our disciplines all work UK-wide as a single team so for the right individual we can usually accommodate a new role in most locations. Coupled with SLR's Hybrid Working model we can accommodate most locations across the UK.**The role**
Joining as part of a busy and established UK-wide Air Quality team, this role has dual focus incorporating technical project delivery and business development. You will also be required to promote the SLR air quality team in the marketplace, drive further growth and play a direct role in the delivery of a diverse range of projects.-
**About us**
SLR are global leaders in environmental and advisory solutions helping our clients achieve their sustainability goals. We are a consultancy with over 3500 staff across 5 regions - including over 1000 staff across Europe. SLR’s ‘one team’ culture is at the heart of our business, providing a collaborative and supportive environment for professional development. Along with competitive salaries, our staff enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including a company pension and healthcare offering, travel and life insurance, critical illness cover and a structured career framework with regular reviews offering outstanding opportunities for progression. Alongside 25 day’s annual leave, SLR offer agile working which allows staff to tailor hours worked around core hours, and our family friendly policies help balance the needs of professional and family life.**About you**
If you would like to be considered for this role, we would love to hear from you. In order to successfully undertake the position, we'd like to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following:
- Experienced Air Quality consultant with a strong business development track record.
- Proven work winning capability with excellent knowledge of market places and key clients.
- Technical experience to include dispersion modelling (e.g. Aermod/ADMS/ADMS Roads/DMRB), industrial air pollution, power generation, traffic emissions, dust and odour assessments
- Confident in both managing existing client relationships and developing new clients/workloads
- Line management experience desirable but not essential.
**Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion**
SLR Consulting is committed to being an equal opportunities employer, and our expectations go beyond purely complying with legislation. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) are at the core of who we are and who we choose to be. We embrace diverse cultures, perspectives, skills, and experiences within and outside our organisation. We respect and celebrate difference to ensure SLR is a place where everyone feels included, is encouraged to be their authentic self and has opportunities to grow.
- Across Europe, our DE&I agenda is driven forward through our DE&I Committee, which actively promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion across both our internal processes and our client work. Globally, our Global Culture & Diversity Council brings together representatives from across our regions to share ideas and best practice that can be incorporated into our global policies, enabling greater transparency and supporting the development of an inclusive culture, inclusive approaches to policies and practices, and to personal behaviours.-
