My client is a local enterprise that operates a business centre based in East Belfast offering a range of office / workspace solutions for new / micro businesses. They also provide a range of business support, training and help through local government initiatives including the new Go Succeed service, on behalf of local Councils.

They now seek to recruit a full-time **Senior Business Advisor**. The overall purpose of this role will be the delivery of a range of business start-up and support programmes to new and existing businesses (both private sector and social enterprises).

Key areas:

- Working with the Business Operations Manager you will deliver business start-up and business development support services to include - enterprise initiatives, outreach programmes and other initiatives.
- Provide a professional business advice service to clients interested in starting a business.
- Help prepare business plans, including financial projections.
- Deliver training and mentoring on the various programmes from pre-start to start-up.
- Host events, meetings, workshops and seminars.
- Manage expenditure budgets, outputs and work to agreed income targets.
- Ensure a joined up and co-ordinated approach to the delivery of services.
- Act as an ambassador for the Agency in all dealings with clients and programme participants.
- Ensure all programme claims and supporting evidence are maintained to a high standard and are produced in a timely manner.
- Provide updates on programme delivery status on a regular and as agreed basis.

Marketing and Business Development Responsibilities
- Help/assist with the recruitment of clients onto programmes and initiatives.
- Market and promote the services of the agency to clients, attendees, and stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of new programmes, contribute to submission of tenders.
- Build, develop and maintain a professional network of local stakeholders, including funders, businesses, community organisations and social enterprises.

Organisational Responsibilities
- Bring a positive attitude to teamwork, contributing to the smooth running of the organisation and working effectively with other departments. Work with a range of clients from diverse backgrounds in a professional, kind and supportive manner.
- Assist and encourage junior members of staff with guidance and advice as required.
- Observe the rules and procedures of the company.
- Attend staff meetings and training as required.
- Focus on enhancing personal professional development within the role.

Starting salary of £30,000 to £35,000. Monday to Friday 9.00pm to 5.00pm (37.5 hours / Hybrid Flexibility offered). 23 days holiday plus 11 stats, attractive pension scheme. Offices based in East Belfast, located just a 10-minute walk from the city centre. This position is offered as a permanent contract.
