**We are looking for an enthusiastic people person to join our Front of House team.**

The hotel is on the outskirts of Ludlow, a 20 minute walk to the train station. The business is open 7 days per week and has 15 bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant as well as a more casual bistro and small spa.

Shifts will be varied to keep the overall number of hours down to a maximum average of 40 hours per week for staff employed on a 5 day contract. Flexibility is required, but days off are arranged a week in advance with requested days off bookable in advance. Night porters ensure that we can get the team out at an earlier hour on a regular basis.

All employees are entitled to 20 days holiday plus 8 days in lieu of Bank Holidays.

**Main Purpose of the Role**:
To look after all customers during your shift and deal with smaller daily issue which arise that are within your capabilities.

**Duties**:
Carrying plates from the kitchen

Serving guests in the bar and at the table.

Polishing cutlery, glasses and plates

Preparing the restaurant for service

Cleaning the downstairs front of house areas

**Qualifications**:
Previous waiting experience preferred but not necessary. Full in house training will be given.

**Accommodation**:
Staff accommodation is available on site. Bathroom, laundry room, lounge and kitchen area are shared.

**Staff Meals**:
A set meal is provided free of charge twice per day to staff on shift.

**Salary**: From £22,000.00 per year
