**Parkfield School, Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an exceptional Mealtime Assistant** **to join the School as soon as possible.**

**Post**:Mealtime Assistant

**Location**:Parkfield School, Hurn, Christchurch, BH23 6DF

**FTE Salary Range**: NJC Bournemouth Grade 1, Pt 2, £20,441 per annum (pro-rata for part time contract)

**Actual Annual Salary**:£4,895.21 per annum

**Contract Type**: Permanent, part time, term time only (39 weeks per year)

**Contract Hours**:10 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Midday - 2.00 pm)

**About the role**

We are looking for a Mealtime Assistant who will ensure students are safe, secure and well supervised during lunch time.

You will required to:

- Encourage the children to eat the meal provided (or their packed lunch) and promote appropriate table manners and behaviour
- Ensure the safety, welfare and appropriate conduct of pupils during the midday break period in accordance with the practices and procedures of the school
- Ensure the health, safety, conduct and well-being of all pupils
- Undertake playground duty, supervising by circulating amongst children
- Ensure the dining area is kept clean and in a hygienic condition
- Ensure playground equipment is used and stored properly
