**Job overview**:
As a Clinical Change Officer you will support and collaborate with Informatics & Digital colleagues as well as staff across all of the Care Organisations. You will act as a Clinical Champion and help to promote the effective use of Digital systems to evidence the delivery of care to the patient.

**Main duties of the job**:
Communicate with a wide range of business representatives, at all levels, in a variety of complex areas to ascertain their needs.

Provide advice and guidance on Digital functionality and its configuration to maximise the benefits to service delivery.

Responsible for ensuring that the clinical perspective and focus is represented when attending meetings / workshops.

Engage with key stakeholders to discuss and review business processes and facilitate change.

Liaise with clerical staff and clinicians to resolve problems and issues.

Work collaboratively with other members of the Informatics and Digital team to promote a holistic approach to the use of all systems including clinical information systems, data management, data quality and information reporting.

Provide advice and guidance on Digital functionality and its configuration to maximise the benefits to service delivery.

Responsible for ensuring that the clinical perspective and focus is represented when attending meetings / workshops.

Maintain clinical / professional registration status.

Use advanced communication skills when there may be resistance to change to negotiate, influence, persuade and motivate staff at all levels.

Provide ongoing advice and support for system users and Informatics team members as required.

To be a nominated “expert user” for key systems, having specialist knowledge and understanding of system functionality and configuration/ administration.

Liaise with stakeholders within the organisation and externally e.g., Local Service Providers and representatives from other organisations.

Communicate highly complex information that may be difficult for the audience / recipient to understand e.g., technical information that needs to be communicated to different staff groups with varying levels of knowledge and understanding.

- At least 2 years’ experience working in a clinical role
- Experience of producing high quality work to tight timescales and able to meet specific deadlines
- Experience managing organisational change & in the improvement of business processes
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including highly developed presentation and influencing skills
