**Payroll Administrator**
CHAP Group is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team. This position will be responsible for the processing of payroll for employees, and managing employee time off requests.
**Responsibilities**:
- Process all aspects of the weekly payroll.
- Process/assist process the monthly payroll when required.
- Maintain payroll records.
- Assist in ensuring payroll and pension processes and procedures follow current regulations.
- Administration of holiday records.
- Provide cover for Payroll Manager when required.
- Undertake/assist with compiling reports (eg end of year).
- Liaison with HMRC.
- Participate in internal and external audits as required.
- Provide support to HR.
- Close liaison with operational management regarding payroll.
- Addressing payroll queries.
- Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be requested by senior management.
**Competencies**:
- Previous in-depth computerised payroll experience.
- Ability to work on own initiative and be self-organised.
- Excellent time management, attention to detail and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent numeracy skills.
- Computer Literacy - including proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Able to maintain privacy and confidentiality.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
