Holiday Club Playworker

**Tree Tops Clubs Are looking for Holiday Club Playworkers to work in the School Holidays at our Holiday Club location **Ashville College (Harrogate), Green Lane, Harrogate, HG2 9JP**

Tree Tops clubs have been operating in London, Surrey, Berkshire, West Sussex, and Hampshire since 2015 with breakfast, after school and holiday clubs in various locations. Tree Tops is part of the UK Childcare Group, and the company is growing and expanding which creates amazing job opportunities within our settings.

Our Managing Director has been working in the childcare industry for the last 9 years and is passionate about providing high quality, fun, safe and affordable childcare for working parents within our schools.

We follow safer recruitment practices, and our staff team are DBS checked and have various company training such as Safeguarding, Prevent, FGM, Food Hygiene and Paediatric First Aid training. Our aim is for the children to have a fun, safe environment with plenty of opportunities for play, make friends and to be themselves.

**Qualifications**:

- Level 3 Qualification in Childcare (or are currently working towards a Level 3 qualification) desirable
- Level 2 Qualification in Childcare Desirable

Our Holiday Clubs run during February Half Term, Easter Holidays, May Half Term, Summer Holidays, October Half Term and Christmas Holidays.

The Holiday Club Playworker role includes supervising the children, ensuring their safety at all times, engaging with them in aspects of play and conversation, setting up activities for children to optionally take part in, meet and greet parents and provide them with feedback on their child’s time at the club. You will be fully supported in your role by an established provider of Out of School Care

Any suitable applicants will be invited to remote interviews. If successful through the interview stage, you must attend training prior to our holiday clubs opening.

Hourly rates are between £8.00 and £9.50.

As well as excellent rates of pay, we also offer a wide variety of training, this includes Paediatric First Aid, Qualifications in Childcare and much more

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Harrogate, North Yorkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Level 3 in Childcare qualification (preferred)
- Level 2 in Childcare Qualification (preferred)
