Job title: Purchase Ledger Clerk

Reporting to: Finance Director

Working hours: Monday to Friday - 10:00AM - 18:00PM.

Location: White Cube Bermondsey (other locations as required)

We are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to monitor, record and provide accurate financial information to the wider Finance Team.

Key responsibilities:

- Overseeing usage of Compleat, including but not limited to Invoice Matching, PO chasing, Code Checking & Importing.
- Monitoring imports into SAGE, checking and consolidating
- Payable Inbox Monitoring
- Statement reconciliations with SAGE
- Raise all payments which includes weekly run and urgent payments across four banks and five companies in multi currencies
- Ensuring all payments are posted on SAGE
- Maintain Purchase Ledger accounts on SAGE, resolving any issues with suppliers
- Work on building relationships with staff across departments to get positive results
- Ad hoc tasks as required with the purchase ledger role

Technical skills:

- Knowledge of SAGE 200
- Multi-currency
- Proficient in Excel
- Complete understanding of Sales/Purchase and Nominal accounts, in all currencies.
- Finance Experience
- Relevant experience within a Finance Purchase ledger related role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
- Takes ownership and initiative
- Strong attention to detail
- Good with data
- Team-player
- Self-motivated

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
