**About The Role**

The **night porter **must ensure the preparation of the hotel to the highest standards for the next day’s events, as well as ensuring any guests checking in or returning late receive a front-line service which projects the image of the hotel in a positive and customer**-**friendly manner.

Your job **responsibilities and duties** include but are not limited to the following:

- Assist in the cleaning and set up of function rooms
- Clean, dust and hoover the public areas of the hotel
- Provide basic check in, check out and billing of guests
- Provide residents bar service after bar shut down
- Ensure all guests and staff are escorted off the property safely
- Answer and deal with any telephone queries
- Have a thorough knowledge of the hotel evacuation procedures
- Extend the highest level of hospitality to all guests at all times
- Nightly security checks on hotel and apartments
- Prepare a list of breakfast room services for reception and the kitchen
- Ensure all relevant Health and Safety policies are adhered to and implemented
