We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our talented reception team at the Europa Hotel, a luxury hotel owned and operated by Hastings Hotels.
As a Night Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and comfort of our guests, as well as maintaining the highest standards of service and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Be knowledgeable about hotel facilities and services, as well as local amenities and attractions.
- Handle and store guest luggage, and provide a car parking valet service.
- Ensure customer areas are clean and tidy, and maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Process cash payments and record sales, and report any issues or concerns to management.
- Work effectively with colleagues to maintain a harmonious and respectful work environment.
- Comply with health, safety, and hygiene policies and procedures.
- Address guest concerns and complaints in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Perform other duties as required by management.
Requirements:
- GCSE standard education or equivalent, including English and Maths.
- Previous experience working nights.
- Valid driving license with no penalty points.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and a smart, well-groomed appearance.
