**Fixed term until 31 August 2025**

It is an exciting time to join the Admissions, Student Recruitment and Marketing function as we face the changing environment for student recruitment market place. Never before has it been as important to engage with our prospective applicants, offer holders, and our key stakeholders, finding new and exciting ways to create engagement. We are seeking a highly organised and confident marketing communications specialist to join our team and help us achieve our strategic goals.

As the Communications Officer you will have a unique opportunity to contribute to the overall Recruitment and Marketing Strategy through developing our profile and reputation amongst our various audiences across a wide range of digital and traditional channels. We are seeking an individual with a successful record of developing social media campaigns and communications that deliver exceptional results.

You will have experience of building successful relations with press and local media, as well as a digital first approach to campaign management. You will have developed successful social media campaigns to deliver agreed objectives, and be able to bring to life the amazing ‘stories’ that Writtle University College has. You will be comfortable producing written and digital content as a hands-on professional, being highly organised and able to create and curate inspiring content for our target audiences.

This role may include some evening and weekend working. It is primarily office based but at times will involve travelling as required.
