**The Opportunity**: Our Medical Device Testing division is a world-class team dedicated to supporting the innovative and thriving medical device and combination drug product industries. Due to our continued success and increased investment, we are seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join our Chemistry Department.

**Role Overview**: As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the flow of projects through the department, maintaining laboratory housekeeping and record-keeping, and ensuring the efficient organization of equipment and resources. Your contributions will directly impact our team's ability to maintain a safe, efficient, and well-organized working environment.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the laboratory and office areas, and oversee laboratory equipment, including glassware.
- Manage the acquisition and maintenance of stock levels for chemicals and laboratory supplies.
- Provide support to the chemistry team members in various tasks.
- Responsible for sample husbandry and preparation of solutions.
- Assist in file and record maintenance, as well as desk-based administrative tasks.
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping, particularly regarding storing materials, chemicals, solvents, and customer samples.
- Adhere to all relevant standard operating procedures and compliance measures.
- Participate in appropriate training and development initiatives.
- Ensure assigned responsibilities are performed in a timely manner.
- Deliver effective communication and project updates to supervisors, managers, and project managers as required.
