**Support Worker / Companion / Driver (Female)**

**Hours: 14 hours per 4 week period **_**(average 3.5 hrs p/wk) - Evenings**_

**R.O.P: £10.50 per hr**

**Duties**:
To accompany and be a companion to a young woman who lives in the Ayr area. She has Cerebral Palsy and mobility impairment and has her own Mobility Vehicle (Automatic) which accommodates her wheelchair.

Her passions are music and entertainment and the main purpose of this role is to accompany her to music gigs. Assistance with personal care will be required.

You will also be required to accompany her on short respite breaks / weekends away. Hours may also increase in future to provide support in the workplace once she has secured employment.

Applicants must be a driver aged over twenty five (for insurance purposes) with a full current clean driving licence.

Successful applicant will require Moving & Assisting Training which can be provided by the employer.

**Successful applicant will have to undergo a new PVG Disclosure, at the employer’s expense and supply 2 reference contacts prior to appointment.

There is a 6 month probationary period attached to this post with a 1 weeks’ notice within that time if the post does not work out.

Please note that AILN are not the employers, AILN are a Self Directed Support Charity that offer a support, payroll & mail box service on behalf of Individual Employers.**

Part-time hours: 3.5 per week
