Legal Secretary

**Role: Legal Secretary**
**Location: Wakefield WF1**
**Hours: Part time or full time**
**Monday - Friday**
**Pay: £10 per hour**
We are looking for a Legal Secretary to join our client based in Wakefield.
**Job Duties**:
- Preparing, typing, and filing legal documents, such as wills, contracts, and subpoenas
- Action all SDLTS and Land Registrations and Land Registry Requisitions
- Organising diaries, scheduling appointments, and arranging meetings
- Audio typing from digital dictation, transcribing interviews, and conducting legal research
- Gathering information required for cases, such as accident reports or medical records
- Support other staff using own initiative where applicable and carry out any requests made by Office Manager
- Scanning, photocopying, archiving and post
- Answer phone calls, take notes/messages and redirect calls when appropriate
- Maintain and update inventories of contact details
- Give quotes for conveyancing (where applicable)
- Keep all systems up to date
**Person Specification**:
- Excellent experience of using Outlook and Microsoft Office
- Experience of working with CRM systems
- High level of attention to detail
- High level of integrity as role involves dealing with financial information
- Ability to work efficiently and prioritise accordingly as working as a team of one
- Able to handle and organise large volumes of data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ideally has experience working within a similar environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm
**Salary**: From £10.00 per hour
