Here at** Derian House Children’s Hospice, **we have an exciting opportunity available for an eCommerce Assistant** **to join our team based in one of our Chorley premises**. **You will join us on a **permanent **basis, working 37.5 hours per week, a flexible working pattern is required to include regular weekends. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of **£23,400 - £24,000 per annum.**

**Derian House Children’s Hospice** is proud to have been providing high-quality care to children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions for the last 30 years.

The Derian House care team provides symptom management, palliative and end-of-life care, as well as short break respite care to children, young people and their families across Lancashire, South Cumbria and Greater Manchester. Supported by our dedicated community team, family support team, neonatal services and young people’s services we are able to provide a wide range of support and care in a variety of settings.

**About the eCommerce Assistant role**:
As part of the Retail team, reporting to the Retail Area Manager, the role will be responsible for the daily retail activities on our eCommerce platforms, to help develop and deliver a high standard of customer service whilst maximising sales and profitability. The role will involve travel to our other Derian House shops in Blackburn, Preston, Horwich and Leigh identifying stock for listing/recycling. You will need to plan how to list and price items as well as to ensure consistency across our shops.

**What we’re looking for in our eCommerce Assistant**:

- A good working knowledge of eBay and Facebook Marketplace
- Evidence of well-practised communication skills, both written and verbal
- Customer Service experience
- Ability to record information in a concise, accurate and legible manner, as appropriate.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Proven ability of organisation and negotiation skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office.
