**Health and Safety Coordinator / Supervisor**

Opportunity to work for our central office servicing 7 other sister companies. You will be based in our Wickford office to support the operations team in coordinating and implementing all levels of Health and Safety.

**Key Roles & Responsibilities: (this list is not exhaustive)**
- General Health & Safety administration which will specifically include the creation of Risk Assessments and Method statements for reactive and planned works on a daily basis
- Provide information, advice and guidance to site personnel regarding Company Rules and Health and Safety Legislation
- Ensuring the companies H&S records are kept up to date
- Assist with the H&S audit programme and monitor audit actions that have been raised
- To place purchase orders for and issue PPE, ensuring that adequate records are maintained and that employees sign for receipt of all PPE supplied
- Monitoring statistics, data collection and reporting
- Assist with H&S induction programme
- Review internal and external risk assessments - monitor compliance and provide support where required
- Assist with the collating of information to enable H&S manual production
- Assist with keeping Company accreditations and licenses up-to-date
- Responsibility for the organisation and H&S of the building/warehouse
- Delivering tool box talks
- Provide information, advice and guidance to site personnel regarding company rules and health and safety legislation
- Site Audits

**Essential Skills**:

- Full UK driving licence
- Industry recognised Health and Safety qualification
- Previous knowledge/experience of Health and Safety in Construction
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Computer literate with good user knowledge of Microsoft packages (word/excel/outlook)
- Strong analytical skills
