**JOB ROLE: NEW BUSINESS ACCOUNT HANDLER**

**SALARY: £35,000 - £40,000 PLUS BENEFITS**

**LOCATION: MANCHESTER CITY CENTRE, WITH HYBRID-WORKING**

**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
A brilliant new opportunity has come to market with one of the world's largest privately owned insurance brokers, who are recruiting for a New Business Account Handler to join them as part of one of their specialist teams in Manchester.

As a New Business Account Handler, you will be responsible for:

- Providing a first class service to new business prospects in securing them the best possible deal for their insurance requirements.
- Being effective and efficient in converting incoming new business enquiries, being able to handle a good number of cases at all times.
- Ensuring direct contact is kept regularly with brokers, insurers and clients, developing excellent working relationships.
- Keeping an eye out for and identifying opportunities for business development

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- Proven experience and a good knowledge across a range of cross-class commercial insurance products, working in a broking environment.
- Excellent communication skills are a must, with the ability to develop, manage and maintain effective working relationships.
- You must have a strong sales acumen, being passionate about seeing success through building tight relationships and securing business.
- A keen eye for detail, able to plan and manage time effectively and able to work well as part of a team.
- Insurance qualifications such as Cert CII would be beneficial.
