Administrative Assistant

Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Answering the telephone and dealing with any queries that may arise
- Welcoming and assisting “walk-in” customers within our showroom
- Preparing quotations, understanding the needs of our customers and which products will best fulfil these needs
- Arranging / delivering samples to our clients
- Ensuring orders are being completed within the required time frame through liaison with our production staff and third-party suppliers
- Taking and tracking customer deposits and payments
- Offering exceptional customer service in a professional & timely manner
- Managing the diaries of field-based staff
The Person:
We are looking for a confident and motivated multi-tasker who can work well under pressure in a diverse role in a busy office / showroom.
- A team player, happy to pitch in, whatever comes across the desk
- Positive and can-do attitude
- Having extremely high customer service and communication skills
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills
- Ability to problem solve and work under pressure
- Flexible approach, with a strong work ethic
- Working with bespoke made-to-measure products, an eye for detail and accuracy is required
- Good computer and IT skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Experience within the window blinds / home improvement industry preferred but not essential as full training can be given.
