**Support Assistant (Classroom Based)
- Sevenoaks**

**Monday - Friday**

**8.30am-3.30pm**

**£85-£95 Daily rate**

Are you passionate about education and making a difference in the lives of students? We're seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join a wonderful team as a Support Assistant.

We are working with a welcoming school who provide pupils with opportunities to achieve and celebrate their progress. They support, challenge and motivate their pupils to succeed. This amazing school wants their Support Assistants to be part of the decision making that drives the school, provides outcomes for children and advocates for every child.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist teachers with lesson preparation, including setting up materials and resources.
- Support classroom management
- Provide one-on-one assistance to students who need extra support with their studies.
- Assist with group activities and projects, ensuring student engagement and participation.
- Monitor students during class time and other school activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Assist with grading assignments, tests, and homework, as well as record-keeping.
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
- Provide support to students with special needs in collaboration with special education teachers.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and maintaining supplies.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Contribution to making a positive impact in students' lives
- A DBS on the Updates Service, or be willing to obtain one
- Commitment to safeguarding students and young people
