Empowering Learning have partnered with a large Secondary School in Sevenoaks. They are looking for additional Exam Invigilators to start ASAP.

**About Us**:
We are seeking dedicated Exam Invigilators to join the agency on a short-term basis to support at a Secondary School in Sevenoaks. This is a mainstream secondary school.

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and fair conduct of examinations for the schools students. Your responsibilities will include supervising exams, ensuring compliance with exam regulations, assisting students with additional needs, and maintaining a calm and supportive atmosphere throughout the examination process.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up examination rooms and ensure all necessary materials are available.
- Greet students and explain exam procedures clearly and concisely.
- Supervise students during exams, ensuring compliance with exam regulations.
- Provide additional support to students with SEN, including reading exam questions or providing extra time if required.
- Handle any issues or disruptions during exams in a calm and professional manner.
- Collect and securely store exam papers at the end of each session.
- Complete necessary paperwork and reports as required.

**Requirements**:

- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain exam procedures clearly to students.
- Patience, resilience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A compassionate and supportive approach
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 40 per week
