Join us as a Foreign Exchange (FX) Electronic Trading and Sales Associate

Some of your key responsibilities include:
Support Electronic Trading Franchise
- Monitor electronic trading book, work closely with Sales Traders and Voice Traders to optimize client pricing & risk management
- Support liquidity management and maintain bank relationships

Research & Development
- In collaboration with more senior quantitative strategists conduct research to improve our electronic trading offering
- Use of kdb/q, python and relevant libraries to conduct in-depth analyses of the electronic trading franchise, market micro-structure, client pricing strategies, and research for price construction
- Work with other quantitative strategists and developers in designing and developing internal trading systems
- Work with external technology vendors to evolve our tech stack

eFX Sales/ RM Responsibilities
- Assist in the management and growth of complex client relationships by proactively meeting day-to-day client trading and market needs
- Manage client transaction flow
- Leverage and produce eFX data and analytics to add value and deepen client relationships
- Maintain a constant awareness of market events and drivers for the betterment of client engagement and trading expertise.
- Generate reports and analytics on existing client relationships to gain insights on trends for review with senior management
- Ensure relationship management activities are aligned with the strategy and goals of the division.

Desired Qualifications/skills:

- 0-3 years of work experience in a quantitative role, ideally exposure to electronic trading and knowledge of FX/ fixed income markets
- Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Advanced coding skills in a scripting language a must, ideally hands-on work experience with tick data in Python, R, Matlab or kdb/q
- Some exposure (academic or practical) to software development in an object-oriented language, ideally Java
- Very strong interest in FICC markets and its macro-economic drivers
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a team environment consisting of Traders, Sales, Product Specialists, Systems, Risk Management and other stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects and initiatives and to follow these through to resolution
- Excellent work ethic and ability to meet aggressive deadlines
