Job Description Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join IP&I as part of Halifax Share Dealing Ltd (HSDL). LBG’s Stockbroking business is one of the largest stockbroking platforms in the country with c.500k customers. As a platform we have an adventurous goal to grow our business significantly and achieve c.£30bn of AUA by 2026. Our priorities are maintaining a stable resilient platform, improving customer engagement through digitisation and simplification of our technology and delivering growth rough compelling pricing promotions and marketing campaigns.

Reporting to the Managing Director of HSDL, this role has overall accountability for setting and delivering the commercial strategy for Stockbroking. You'll work to improve the Discoverability, Comprehension, Conversion & Engagement of Digital customer journeys across public, secure & 3rd party sites. You'll also explore how market and industry changes will influence and challenge the stockbroking business and develop plans to react.

You'll be responsible for the overall proposition roadmap & pricing structure across the Stockbroking brands that allows the business to grow and thrive. You'll have accountability for aligning the Stockbroking business with the principles of consumer duty within a detailed product management and governance framework across the product & digital estate

Our team works out of our Leeds hub, therefore we'll need you to be based a commutable distance from this area. We work in a hybrid model with an expectation to be in the office a minimum of two days a week, enabling colleagues to experience the benefits of time in the same location as their colleagues while also entrusting colleagues with choice about how, when and where they work, to deliver their best.

You'll handle sophisticated partner networks demonstrating internal relationships to deliver change, and utilising and building your external contacts to build the profile and understanding of Stockbroking. Your execution plan will deliver for customers, which will help us to achieve significant growth in AuM through the acquisition of new clients, deepening relationships with existing customers and developing retention strategies.

What would you get involved with?
- Define & deliverer the commercial strategy for Stockbroking.
- Develop a pricing structure across the Stockbroking brands that allows the business to grow and thrive.
- Improve the Discoverability, Comprehension, Conversion & Engagement of Digital customer journeys across public, secure & 3rd party sites.
- Responsible for meeting product governance requirements and ensuring a consistent approach to handling risk across the product & digital estate.
- Responsibility for developing and implementing promotional activity and co-ordinating marketing activity.
- Ownership of aggregator and partner relationships for Stockbroking.
- Responsible for improving NPS performance and ownership of the Trust pilot relationship for Share Dealing.
- Stockbroking lead on group wide projects and initiatives (Thread & Mass Affluent), ensuring that the business’ interests are considered and reflected.
- Responsible for maintaining the relationship with super severe suppliers that are core to the stability of the platform.
- Build a committed team and support the growth of capabilities through investment in own and others training and development.

- Demonstrate excellent relationship leadership skills with an ability to build strong collaborative relationships.
- Lead and influence to secure funding and resources for proposition and customer roadmap.
- Demonstrate validated thought leadership in setting future commercial direction for stockbroking.

And we'll need you to possess some of these specific skills...
- A strong knowledge of Stockbroking and regulatory landscape affecting our business.
- A deep understanding of Consumer Duty principles would be valuable to help with implementation in 2023.
- Detailed knowledge of the key elements of the proposition, including governance, digital, investment and the asset universe is preferrable.
