You will also support families to strengthen their relationship with their baby as part of the Parent-Infant Mental Health pathway. - To responsively deliver a case load of high-quality support to identified families via fully trained home visiting volunteers.
- Receiving referrals, assessing needs of families, and matching them to volunteer support
- Recruit, train, and support volunteers - contributing to the development of new ante-natal training as required by the Head of Family Support;
- Liaising with Home-Start’s baby bank service to help vulnerable families to prepare practically and secure essential equipment;
- Work in close partnership with the developing Family Hubs service across the borough;
- Ensure close working relationships with HOST’s PIMH (Parent Infant Mental Health) teams including our perinatal peer support groups, and with infant feeding and Dad Matters;
- Promote HOST externally by ensuring appropriate liaison, networking and communication with referrers, professionals, community leaders and organisations
- Undertake any other duties that may be required to discharge the role and support the organisation;
**Interviews will be held week commencing 3rd July 2023**
