**The Role**:
The role is focussed on the implementation ofApprenticeship delivery by overseeing all aspects of the Apprenticeships delivery at the Training Centre in Daventry.

Lead the delivery of the practical elements of the Apprenticeship standard to support apprentices to complete their programmes successfully and oversee all other aspects of delivery (functional skills, off the job) as well as

quality indicators through regular progress reviews and pastoral care.

To generally deliver high levels of support, guidance, and expertise to Apprentices, stakeholders, contractors working closely with colleagues to share knowledge and provide effective management of day-to-day apprenticeships delivery.

**Key Accountabilities**
- To ensure that you fully understand the Group and Operating Company Business Plan and how these impact your day-to-day responsibilities.
- To contribute to the overall success of the Training Services direction and Apprenticeship Strategy.
- Provide support to develop the annual Training Services Self-Assessment Report (SAR), Quality Improvement Plan (QIP), Ofsted, ESFA audits as required
- Oversee all aspects of the apprenticeship programme from initial employer engagement, on-boarding, initial assessment, eligibility checks, programme delivery (practical, theoretical including functional skills), progress reviews through to end-point assessment
- Lead the delivery of the practical skills training associated to the roofer level 2 programme
- Manage the day-day affairs of the Training Centre ensuring the classroom, practical space, risk assessment of the Centre provides an appropriate learning environment for apprentices, employers, and readiness for external stakeholders / inspection
- To manage the Assistant Training Manager (ATM) to ensure that operational processes involved in apprenticeship delivery is effective.
- To ensure that the apprentice (learner) and employer journey is smooth in on-boarding new apprentices and their employers
- To maintain ESFA compliance with all on-boarding processes working closely with the Finance department to ensure that all on-boarding paperwork is recorded effectively (Training Plan, Off the job delivery, skills scan)
- To support quality and compliance procedures generally by ensuring that practices associated to the initial assessment, apprentice monitoring and progress tracking data is recorded to the systems (BKBS, PICS, Smart Assessor)
- Working with the ATM, ensure that employers are communicated with regularly to update on progress of the apprentice, 20% off the job hours, undertaking regular progress reviews that involves the workplace mentor and apprentice
- Work closely with the end-point assessment organisation (EPAO) to ensure that the end point assessment plan is aligned to the apprenticeship delivery plan aligning practical delivery to theoretical to ensure the apprentices is progressing effectively
- Oversee the portfolio development for apprentices and timetable delivery accordingly for apprentices to obtain appropriate off the job skills development linked to the end point assessment plan to ensure the required skills, behaviours and knowledge arealways provided to apprentices.
- To promote, plan and achieve successful completion of Trailblazer programmes in collaboration with colleges and national awarding bodies.
- To identify knowledge gaps and design effective learning solutions that ensure project compliance with statutory regulations and Best Practice guidelines.
- To manage training delivery, measurement, and follow-up as necessary in line with the organisational development strategy to ensure the learning and development needs of employees and clients are met.
- IQA - Internal Quality Assessor (desirable)
- CIPD Level 5 Diploma in Learning & Development or working towards it (desirable)
- HABC Level 3 Award in Education & Training (QCF) (mandatory)
- VTCT Level 3 Certificate on Assessing Vocational Achievement (QCF) (desirable)
- Understanding and experience of Apprenticeship standards
- Understanding of quality and compliance procedures (Education and Training)
- Delivery of Training Programmes
- Extensive experience of designing and delivering training programmes
- Experience of mapping learning needs analysis
- Experience of working in construction or the roofing industry
