8A SENIOR PRACTITIONER PSYCHOLOGIST / PSYCHOLOGICAL THERAPIST IN MATERNAL MENTAL HEALTH (CLINICAL HEALTH PSYCHOLOGY SERVICE)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly skilled practitioner psychologist/ psychological therapist to join the Maternal Mental Health Service ( called TULIP). This team was created as a result of a collaboration between Clinical Health Psychology Service (CHPS) and Perinatal Parent Infant Mental Health Service (PPIMHS) to develop a stepped model of care for women and their partners.

This would include referrals for perinatal loss such as miscarriage, stillbirth, medical termination, infertility, birth trauma, tokophobia (fear of childbirth) and those that have had a loss of a baby through removal by children’s social care.
All members of the Maternal Mental Health clinical team work in collaboration with multiple agencies in the community.
The Maternal Mental Health Service mainly works online, but also runs clinics in community sites and offers home visits. The successful applicant must be able to mobilise independently using public transport or driving.

As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
