Conventional Turner

Alpha Engineering Solutions is a small Talke based Engineering Shop looking for a new Conventional Turner to join our ranks

We have been at the forefront of manufacturing precision components and assemblies for over 18 years, servicing a wide variety of industries including Science & Medical, Oil & Gas, Automotive, and many others
- **We are looking for someone with experience in Precision Machining on Conventional Lathes.**_

**Requirements**:

- Setup and Operation of Conventional Turning Machines
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Monitor Machine Operations to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues or malfunctions
- Measure and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Extensive Experience in Manufacturing/Engineering
- Problem Solving and Innovation Skills
- 'Hands-On' and Proactive Approach
- Willingness to jump in and help wherever needed
- Ability to work unsupervised under pressure
- GCSE or Equivalent (preferred but not required)

In short, we need someone who has done this before.

**Regular Schedule**:
Monday - Thursday Day Shift (37 hours/week), with overtime opportunities on select Friday's.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £14.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37 per week
