Alpha Engineering Solutions is a small Talke based Engineering Shop looking for a new Conventional Turner to join our ranks

We have been at the forefront of manufacturing precision components and assemblies for over 18 years, servicing a wide variety of industries including Science & Medical, Oil & Gas, Automotive, and many others

We are looking for someone with experience in Precision Machining on Conventional Lathes._

Requirements:

  • Setup and Operation of Conventional Turning Machines
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Monitor Machine Operations to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues or malfunctions
  • Measure and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Extensive Experience in Manufacturing/Engineering
  • Problem Solving and Innovation Skills
- 'Hands-On' and Proactive Approach

  • Willingness to jump in and help wherever needed
  • Ability to work unsupervised under pressure
  • GCSE or Equivalent (preferred but not required)
In short, we need someone who has done this before.

Regular Schedule:

Monday - Thursday Day Shift (37 hours/week), with overtime opportunities on select Friday's.

PAY IS HIGHLY DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE AND IS ABSOLUTLEY NEGOTIABLE_

Salary:
£14.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 37 per week
