**Who are we looking for?**

We’re seeking an environmental and sustainability professional to join the Safety, Health and Environment team to help us progress towards a carbon zero future.

You’ll be joining our SHE team and will visit multiple construction site teams across our business on a regular basis, so your ability to develop relationships and motivate others will be crucial.

Ideally you’ll have an Environmental degree and background in our industry, perhaps with a NEBOSH Construction qualification too. These will help you implement and embed our ESG strategy, motivating others to understand their responsibilities to be compliant.

**Key Responsibilities**

Taking a lead role to shape and structure our environmental management systems, with a focus on environmental compliance.

Creating our wider Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy, Places for Life, which will support the business’ drive to achieve Net Zero operational carbon emissions by 2040.

You’ll implement the Company’s SHE Policy across our projects and monitor SHE performance goals to enhance and continuously improve the Company’s performance.

You’ll maintain and continuously improve an accredited Health & Safety Management system and Environmental Management System.

Your experience in this field and ability to gain commitment from others, will be critical to this role.

**Salary**: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
