Environment Advisor

Are you passionate about driving environmental sustainability and excellence in a leading integrated waste management company?

We are seeking an Environment Advisor to join our team and support site operations across the business, driving forward best practice and contributing to our ambitious sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor the working environment, ensuring compliance with environmental legislation.
  • Assist with actions required for new permits and ensure all requirements are completed for any variations.
  • Conduct site visits and audits, identifying opportunities to drive improvements and delivering training where required.
  • Act as a point of contact for the environment and sustainability program with key stakeholders, including clients and regulators.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable environmental experience, ideally within waste, manufacturing, or a related industry.
  • Qualified to degree level, or equivalent, in an appropriate environmental discipline.
  • Ideal professional membership with a recognized environmental body (IEMA, CIEEM, CIWEM).
  • Passion for excellence and ambition to grow and develop a career within the environmental space.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leader in their field. As there will be site travel with this role, a full UK driver's license is essential.
