**Why this job matters**
This role is a 12 month maternity cover Contract Professional role where you will be working within BTs Defence contract management team. You will be responsible for protecting the value of managed contracts through managing risks effectively, delivering contractual obligations for a number of smaller scale contracts. or assisting business manager / director in commercial management of much larger contract or group of contracts.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Supports the development of successful outcomes through supporting commercial teams alongside customers and sales teams on contracts.
- Monitor and manage the DBI monthly forecast for BAU orders, scheduling timely month-end calls with the Contract Accountant and others, ensuring revenue/cost accruals and deferrals have been accounted for in the same period, developing reports as needed.
- Overseeing and verifying permission to pay supplier invoicing on RM3808 AEWIA contract.
- Coordination, interpretation and reporting of risks, issues and change controls.
- Maintaining and reporting on Contract Exit Plan for public sector customers.
