**RME Consultants are proud to be working with an established client who seeking a confident, organised, and proactive Travel Advisor to support their company needs.**
**Role: Travel Advisor**
**Salary: £23,415 per annum + Bonus**
**Contract: Monday - Friday, full time**
**Location: Witney, Oxfordshire**
**Main Duties for Travel Advisor**:
- **As the primary ski travel specialist for your clients, your role will involve managing their entire experience from the moment they make their initial inquiry. This includes listening to their requirements, presenting suitable options, guiding them through the sales process, and ultimately securing their booking. It is crucial that you maintain a strong relationship with the clients to facilitate future bookings.**:
- **Your targets for this role will be based on gross profit, booking numbers, and conversion rates. To achieve these targets, you will need to establish strong relationships with our chalet and hotel partners in the resort, ensuring that we have access to the best options for our clients and maximizing our gross profit.**:
- **In addition to managing the booking process, you will also be responsible for obtaining correct invoices from our partners, generating the relevant booking paperwork for your clients, and ensuring swift payment. You will need to coordinate with the accounts team to ensure that payments are received on time.**:
- **A proactive approach is essential in this role, as you will be expected to contact previous clients and encourage repeat business for future seasons. You will also be required to attend face-to-face meetings with suppliers and events related to the industry, which may take place outside of standard office hours.**:
- **Developing expert knowledge of our chalet and hotel portfolio is crucial so that you can effectively sell the best options to our clients. This will be further enhanced by attending and participating in summer and winter FAM trips, which will provide a deeper understanding of individual properties and resorts.**:
- **In addition to your client-related responsibilities, you will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and up-to-dateness of Oxford Ski Company's website portfolio. This includes maintaining current information on all properties and adding new properties when necessary.**:
- **Overall, as the foremost ski travel specialist for your clients, your role is multi-faceted and requires a high level of organisation, communication, and expertise in order to deliver exceptional service and drive business growth.**
**Experience required for Travel Advisor**:
- **Demonstrates exceptional organisational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.**:
- **Pays close attention to detail. Possesses a positive and determined attitude. Exhibits confidence when speaking on the phone and excels at building and fostering relationships.**:
- **Strong IT skills and fluency in written communication. While sales experience is preferred, it is not essential.**:
- **Able to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.**
