Contract: 3-month fixed term contract (February - April 2024)

Hours: Full time (40 hours a week) across 7 days, may include evenings and weekends

Location: Oldham, onsite

**Salary**: £21,000 pro rata

This position is a temporary, fixed term contract, to fit the needs of the charity during the pre, during and post Ramadan period. There may be scope to extend the contract, for the right person.

We have been successfully working in Yemen, Pakistan, Lebanon, Malawi, Palestine and here in the UK. TeamGGT have provided essentials such as food, water, medical equipment, and education as well as developing sustainable projects. Our skilled local teams are able to access some of the most hard-to-reach places in the world, at their most vulnerable of times.

**About You**:
We are looking for someone flexible, who thrives in a busy environment, and is willing to get stuck in and be a key member of the team. The usual working pattern will be Monday - Friday, however some evening and weekend work will be required, as needed.

Experience in the charity sector is not necessary, as you will receive full training. However, it is desirable, and the right person must demonstrate the right ethos and understanding of our projects and beneficiaries.

**Some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:

- Liaising with donors and volunteers
- Ownership of the public inbox
- Taking and making calls
- Supporting the fundraising, events, and UK projects teams
- Assisting with our volunteer programme
- Ensuring processes and procedures are adhered to
- Undertaking any additional administrative responsibilities to support the wider team

**Essential Attributes**:

- Experience within customer service
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Responsible and reliable including excellent time keeping
- Able to attend the Oldham office
- Take initiative of own workload and time management
- Interest or experience in charity projects
- Willing to have a DBS check and complete any relevant training as required
- A full, clean drivers licence and access to a vehicle

**Desirable Attributes**
- Experience within an office environment
- Basic knowledge of the Muslim charity sector, however full training will be given
- Experience of CRM systems
