A family own logistics business that works within the entertainment industry supplying equipment to the UK and Europe. The offer Haulage and storage solutions and own all their fleet.

**Why would I want to work here?**

Working in a fast paced, fun environment, assisting with the equipment’s within the Hospitality Industry, even meeting some celebs along the way. They offer full training, working in a small team, the hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm with the occasional Saturday. There is a salary increase after 3 months. Parking available, they are close to the motorway but also accessible by public transport.

**The essence of the role**

Plan and coordinate all transport routes mainly throughout the UK and Europe taking account of cost and time efficiencies and availability of drivers and vehicles.

**The scope of the role**
- Plan and coordinate all transport routes mainly throughout the UK and Europe
- Ensure routes are cost and time efficiencies and availability of drivers and vehicles
- Forward planning for all general deliveries and collections
- Handle all driver enquiries
- Find alternatives routes / couriers
- Trouble shooting any delays
- Work to business customer SLA’s

**Prerequisites**
- Must have previous transport planning experience.
- Ideally have UK and Europe planning experience
- Understanding of tacho and drivers’ hours
- Be a team player
