As part of our commitment to safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) excellence, we are seeking a proactive and experienced SHEQ Officer to join our team, specifically focusing on the DNO LV Framework.

**JOB SUMMARY**:
As a SHEQ Officer for the DNO LV Framework in Scotland, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and continuous improvement of safety, health, environment, and quality standards across all operations related to the DNO LV Framework. You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and compliance, striving for excellence in SHEQ performance.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Compliance Management**:

- Ensure compliance with relevant legislative requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance levels and identify areas for improvement.
- Engage with employees to ensure that they understand importance of compliance to requirements

**Risk Assessment and Mitigation**:

- Conduct risk assessments for DNO LV Framework projects and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement effective risk control measures.

**Training and Awareness**:

- Deliver SHEQ training programs for employees and subcontractors.
- Promote a strong safety culture by fostering awareness and accountability among team members.

**Incident Investigation**:

- Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near misses, providing thorough analysis and recommendations for preventive actions.
- Ensure timely reporting and documentation of incidents in accordance with company procedures.

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date SHEQ records, including incident reports, risk assessments, and audit findings.
- Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and improvement initiatives.

**Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in SHEQ processes and practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement best practices and drive excellence in SHEQ performance.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management).
- Proven experience as a SHEQ Officer or similar role, with specific exposure to DNO LV Framework projects.
- Familiarity with Scottish SHEQ regulations and standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- NEBOSH or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

**LOCATION**: Office (Stirling) - and site audits
