Commercial Finance Analyst

Based in our award-winning Bristol head office, and reporting to our Commercial Finance Lead, this exciting permanent, full-time role comes with a salary of up to £30k to £38k per annum depending on experience, alongside a benefits package designed to nurtureyour wellbeing and personal development.

**About the opportunity**

Our Commercial Finance team business partner the rest of the organisation, providing financial insights to shape and transform the way we do things at Pukka. In this Commercial Finance Analyst role you'll partner with our Sales, Supply Chain and Marketingteams.

You'll lead our pricing analysis, review the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns on a quarterly basis, monitor our sales accruals on the balance sheet, scrutinise risks and opportunities to our forecasts and support the selection and monitoring ofstrategic commercial initiatives, facilitating our journey to becoming a cross category force for good. You will also lead our warehouse and distribution insight, analysis and allocations. Working with our supply chain team you'll understand upcoming writeoff and stock risks. You will have month-end responsibilities including posting journals and variance analysis.

We're a small team so there will be opportunities to rotate responsibilities, gain experience and add value across all aspects of commercial finance here at Pukka.

**About you**

To be our Commercial Finance Analyst, you'll have a solid demonstrable financial background and love adding value in the work that you do. You'll have gained experience in a similar role in a fast-paced business where you've liaised face to face with internalor external stakeholders and built strong relationships with your excellent communication skills. You'll be someone who communicates succinctly and can adapt your style to meet the needs of various audiences.

Your finance experience will ideally include numerous examples where your analysis has created value in your previous roles, you'll be skilled at budgeting, planning, forecasting and management reporting (including variance analysis) and experience in month-endclose process.

You'll have the ambition and willingness to learn and a desire to expand your finance skills and clearly demonstrate a real passion for understanding data. A confident and methodical approach to tasks you'll have a high attention to detail. You'll be self-motivatedand success oriented, love working in a team whilst able to thrive working and thinking independently. You'll be a quick learner, able to proactively identify and solve potential problems.

Brilliant at Excel you'll be comfortable using pivot tables, vlookups and sumifs, and interested in developing this skill set into the suite of PowerBI tools. You'll have experience of using finance ERP systems, ideally IFS or similar. Good PowerPoint skillsare needed for preparing. You'll ideally have an interest in, or some technical skills, with SQL and PowerBI but they are not essential.
