**IT Asset Administrator - 6 Month Contract - Hybrid/Tolworth - £140/day**

I am currently supporting a key client looking for an IT Administrator to work in their IT department.

This position is hybrid, with 1/2 days a week onsite in Tolworth.

**IT Asset Administrator Responsibilities**:

- Define and continuously improve processes for software and hardware asset management that will be operated by the service desk, field engineering, EUC and infrastructure team. This covers, but is not limited to, purchasing and shipping of equipment, managingand prioritising purchasing requests in the ITSM, managing hardware and software inventory records and data gathering for the annual Microsoft true-up.
- Software asset management: manage software purchases and maintain inventory records to be able to demonstrate software licence compliance
- Hardware asset management: manage hardware purchases and maintain hardware inventory records
- Seek to automate all asset management through system tools
- Work with EUC Manager and finance team to manage assets according with lifecycle and depreciation policies
- Purchasing admin: purchase order entry, invoice and payment queries
- Contracts admin: support procurement team by keeping records of IT support contracts, notice period and renewal dates and support the IT leadership team to ensure these are managed accordingly
- Supplier management: work with EUC manager and procurement team to secure optimal purchasing agreements with vendors to support deployment of new and replacement equipment
- Schedule recurring supplier management meetings and minute these to support the IT managers with vendor management

**Key Skills**:

- Significant, high-quality experience, working within IT asset management and best practices - must know what 'excellent' looks and feels like in a multi-site environment.
- Technical understanding to be able to leverage systems and tooling to underpin all asset management
- Comfortable working in a very fast-paced and sometimes pressured environment, with high throughput in terms of fulfilling purchasing requests,
- High level of intelligence and diligence, with an eye for detail.
- Kindness to operate in a very people driven sector
