urbanbubble are looking for a Head of Business Improvement to join the team, to act as an influential adviser and partner to the Senior Management Team. You will be responsible for all activity associated with quality, service and standards through policies, processes and procedures, together with regulatory compliance. You will take ownership for data and reporting to support senior management in driving incredible performance, as well as having close oversight of the risk management framework.

**What will you do?**

**Projects**:

- Work with the SMT to prioritise and agree the Business Improvement projects, which underpin the strategic objectives and key operational requirements
- To ensure projects are clearly defined, with critical activities identified and adequately resourced, costed, planned, evaluated and reported upon
- To develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues across urbanbubble, providing challenge and support, to ensure the services we deliver are effective and efficient

**Policy & Process**:

- To own the Policy tree and partner with key stakeholders to ensure a full suite of comprehensive and compliant policies, reflecting the urbanbubble culture and tone
- To support a cyclical review process and ensure they remain abreast of operational needs and regulatory requirements
- To partner L&D so that full awareness and understanding exists across the organisation, the policies are ‘alive’
- To develop, implement and maintain an effective approach to capturing and reviewing business process to ensure they are lean, efficient and supporting operational priorities
- To work with relevant service leads to ensure process improvements are delivered

**Procurement**:

- To develop, implement and ensure delivery of the Procurement Strategy and effective procurement processes that optimise cost and quality for urbanbubble, its clients and customers
- To oversee the development, implementation and delivery of robust contract management processes to ensure efficiencies are realised
- To co-ordinate post contract and procurement reviews, to ensure delivery, financial and otherwise, is delivered in line with contractual specifications and quality standards

**Data & Reporting**:

- To establish and support processes to ensure the Association’s business and customer data is accurate, relevant and maintained
- To partner the Technology team and operations to establish and support systems to enable the accurate and timely reporting of Management Information (MI), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), statutory and regulatory returns and benchmarking data
- To develop business intelligence processes to interrogate business data, identifying improvements to services and cost savings
- To facilitate data-driven decisions through effective business intelligence processes
- To examine KPIs and benchmarking data to ensure performance measures reflect business priorities

**Audit, Quality, Compliance & Risk**:

- To develop an audit strategy, which delivers recommendations on internal control enhancements and how to mitigate issues identified that are both practical and sustainable
- To assess organisation wide compliance with internal policies and procedures, legislation and regulations, service standards and controls addressing operational risks
- To continue to embed, rationalise and further mature the corporate risk management framework across the organisation

**What we are looking for?**
- A track record of delivering change programmes and business improvement initiatives
- Experience of delivering demonstrable end to end process reviews and promoting a culture of Continuous Improvement
- Experience of developing end to end project management and reporting processes
- Experience of implementing successful contract procurement and management processes
- Experience of preparing and delivering reports and presentations to Executive Teams and senior colleagues
- Knowledge of how to utilise technology to drive quality and efficiency
- Knowledge of best practice in risk management, audit, quality and compliance
- Strong and constantly up-to-date regulatory and legislative knowledge, together with outputs from all professional bodies, including ARLA, ARMA, IRPM and FCA
- A high degree of specialised expertise and skill in maintaining established standards of quality and accuracy
- Technical problem solving skills and ingenuity, while demonstrating the values of integrity, quality and caution
