Linkster Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an Quality and Systems Coordinator in Castle Donington. Our client is looking for a hardworking person with good communication & organisational skills to join our busy working environment. This is a temporary, long term position covering for maternity leave.

**Main Functions of the Post**:
To manage and control the processes and systems throughout the business, in order that the company meet the requirements of the Quality, Hygiene, Environmental and Health & Safety Standards.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

1. Manage and further improve the quality management strategy and plans, including resource, systems, timescales, to support and contribute to the standard and systems throughout the business.

2. Manage good standards throughout the business

3. Develop and maintain systems to establish standards relating to existing and new activities, products and processes.

4. Audit the systems and processes in line with the recognised standards, ensuring compliance throughout the business

5. Manage and develop the systems to measure performance against agreed standards and trends.

6. Monitor performance according to agreed standards and take necessary action to communicate/advise/assist according to performance levels.

7. Implement necessary communication strategy for the improvement, development and awareness of Quality, Environmental, Hygiene and Health & Safety issues across all departments.

8. Report as necessary on changes in standards internally to all staff.

9. Liaise and co-operate with quality management and standards bodies ie: BRC & ISO.

10. Manage departmental performance within the company’s policies and standards.

11. Manage your own and Team members’ workload to ensure deadlines are met.

12. Liaise with colleagues, customers and suppliers where necessary, in a polite, friendly and positive manner.

13. Work off site with customers and suppliers when necessary.

14. Contribute to the company’s policy and strategy reviews.

15. Complete necessary administrative duties as required

**Competencies**:

- Superb organizational skills
- Confident and assured
- Good communication skills
- Use resources effectively to maintain standards
- Able to manage the department and personnel
- Recognise priorities and plan accordingly
- Recognised qualifications in Auditing
- IT - Microsoft, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- In-depth experience in ISO 9/14/45 and BRC
- HACCP/HARM
- Internal Audit qualification

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to £33,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 - 37.5 per week
