**About Our Client**:
As a HR Assistant your key responsibilities will be:

- Full administrative support of the Employee lifecycle
- Recruitment administration including advertising, screening CVs, coordinating interviews
- Assisting with payroll processing, ensuring all absences, starters, leavers and changes are accurately administered
- New starter paperwork - contracts, offer letters, reference checks
- Probationary paperwork
- Updating database with employee details
- HR Project support
- Being first point of contact for any HR related queries, advising and escalating where necessary

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Either have a passion for pursuing a career within HR or has a background in HR looking for a new challenge
- Be an excellent communicator both written and verbal
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Live locally to Hitchin and be a car driver (offices aren't commutable via public transport)
- Be able to work well independently and within a team
