**About Our Client**:
A large organisation working within the public sector.
Applications are invited from highly motivated and enthusiastic customer focused individuals to work on an exciting new project within Revenues, Benefits and Customer Services.
We would like to appoint three Financial Support Officers who will be based in the Discretionary Support Team and work across a range of council services.
**The Successful Applicant**:
We are looking for people who are experienced in working in a busy customer service environment, who are forward-thinking with excellent interpersonal and ICT skills.
You must be able to build positive relationships with others, as this role will involve in depth discussions with customers about their household finances via telephone or in face to face meetings. Confidence and the ability to deal with people in difficult circumstances in a calm, non-judgemental and professional manner is essential.
A good knowledge of welfare benefits and organisations and services available that support people facing financial hardship would be an advantage. City & Guilds assured training will be provided.
