Job Introduction

As a Support Worker, you will be key in supporting adult’s with complex needs within their own home and within the community. We are looking for positive, compassionate, and caring support workers who have the right values and attitude to grow and develop with Gray healthcare.

Main Responsibilities

Our expert trainers alongside our managers, ensure that each colleague receives our high-quality bespoke training and has a detailed development plan to equip them to be knowledgeable, supportive, calm, and confident in whatever situation comes their way.

We are looking for positive, compassionate, and caring Healthcare Assistants who have the right values and attitude to grow and develop with Gray healthcare.

A positive attitude, compassion, resilience, and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people we support improve; being able to do something today that they couldn’t do last week because of you.

As of 11th November 2021 all care staff must be double vaccinated against COVID-19 in line with Government guidelines unless you have evidence of being exempt.

I will need your support to help keep me safe and empower me to learn new skills and live a meaningful life in my own home. Living in my own home is an exciting time for me, and I would like to be supported by people who are patient and non-judgemental. I also would like support workers who respect my routine and have a consistent approach as these are important to me.

I love to go out into the community in my car, so my support workers will need to drive. I enjoy baking with my support staff therefore an interest in baking is a plus
