**Early Years Assessor £25-£30 per hour depending on experience (Hybrid remote)**

Purple Jay Nurseries are looking to start to deliver Level 2 & 3 early years training from April 2024 and are currently in the process of registering with NCFE.

We are looking for Early Years assessors to carry out work place assessments and teaching for work-based learners on the Diploma’s Level 3 and Level 2 qualifications to enable us deliver this service to our staff team as well as others from outside Purple Jay.

**Main Duties**
- To induct learners onto their respective courses and carry out initial assessment
- To assess learners progress in accordance with Purple Jay policy and awarding body requirements.
- To carry out assessments both in class (if applicable) and the learners workplace adhering to the awarding
- To participate in the delivery of training relating to relevant work place qualifications, and additional programmes and when required to, enhance learning with one-to-one tutoring.
- To prepare materials suitable for the work place qualifications to assist the learners.
- To support development of online and blended learning materials accessed by learners through their eportfolio in line with those prepared by the Company.
- To provide up-to-date working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the Development Matters Guidance as well as all other relevant legislation related therein to the qualification specification.
- To complete, maintain and submit accurate records for all learners, in line with contract requirements.
- To regularly report to the Learning & Development Manager and/or the Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) on the progress of learners as needed.
- To participate in all IQA activities, standardisation meetings as required.

**Job Type**: Freelance

**Salary**: £25.00-£30.00 per hour
