**MARKETING ASSISTANT**

Office based in Farnborough
Full-Time Monday to Friday

**Salary**: £24,000 to £28,000 pa (dependent on experience)

Educated to degree level or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of experience, you will contribute to the development of integrated marketing campaigns for schools, using both digital and traditional channels.

**Job Summary**
- Create awareness of and develop the iRock brand
- Help with marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing and campaigns
- Evaluate and review marketing campaigns to make sure the correct mediums are being used and campaigns are effective
- Take ownership of iRock's social media channels and campaigns
- Communicate with target audiences plus build and develop customer relationships
- Develop and generate leads to supply to the sales team
- Lead external agencies, when appropriate, to effectively manage promotional materials and online activities
- Track marketing performance and return on investment
- Liaise with designers and printers and organise photo shoots
- Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials
- Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns
- Source, organise and attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
- Prepare regular reports for management
- Monitor and report on competitor activity
- Conduct market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups

**Requirements**:

- A good eye for detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisation and planning skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Experience in driving digital, website and social media marketing
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) and their respective advertising features and analytics
- Experience in digital and offline PR
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive strategic decision-making
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Experience working in the Education sector is desirable
