Our client, a boutique hotel with 50 rooms, are searching for an experienced receptionist to join their team.

Hotel Receptionist responsibilities include guest check-ins and check-outs, answering phones and managing bookings. You are the welcoming face of the hotel so excellent customer service skills are essential.

A minimum of 12 months experience as a hotel receptionist, ideally within a similar sized hotel, is required; as are checkable references.

You must be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of everything associated with the hotel receptionist role.

Shifts required to be available for - 7am-3pm, 12pm-8pm, 3pm-11pm & 11pm-7am.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet and assist guests as needed
- Provide information about our facilities and services
- Check guests in/out as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of reception area
- Help maintain the appearance of the front desk area and the entire hotel
- Produce financial statements regularly (revenues, expenses, revenues)
- Assist other departments as needed

**Desired Experience and Education**
- Previous experience in a similar role essential
- Knowledge of hotels and accommodations essential
- Knowledge of hotels and accommodations software such as Opera, Hotwire or Booking is a plus but not required.
- Professional appearance and attitude. Must be able to work well in a team environment. Must also be able to provide excellent customer service to our guests at all times.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £10.50-£11.50 per hour
