Payroll Officer

This role is not for someone who’s looking to implement positive changes and contribute to the wider finance team.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 0900am - 1800, with flexibility on peak demand or audits to work until the job is done. A flexible a approach to shift times can be discussed.
The key responsibilities of the Payroll Clerk include:
- Dealing with complex queries and payroll (Sage)
- Large volume payroll with majority of staff weekly
- Driving process and system improvement across the payroll function
- Processing payroll from end to end
- Carrying out statutory calculations
- Managing starters and leavers
- Ensure audit standards are met
- Work and support other business areas such as Operations, HR and Health and Safety on ensuring a robust resolution to all queries
- End to end payroll experience will be essential
- Minimum of 5 years payroll experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience dealing with HR related tasks
- General Business Administration experience
- Good Microsoft Office knowledge
- Good communication skills at all levels
- Flexible attitude
- Good Problem Solver
Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
