We are offering a Quality Assurance Apprenticeships within the Quality Assurance/Quality Control or Pharmaceutical Technology & Development (PT&D ) areas. This apprenticeship provides a rotation opportunity across our Quality and Science teams. Whilst supporting Quality Assurance you will undertake sampling of raw materials, testing and release or packaging components, Quality checks on artwork changes and manage archiving reference samples/documentation for production. In addition, to support you through a science degree there will be a rotation into our Quality Control capability where you will undertake development/testing of raw materials, finished products & monitoring of our manufacturing environments to ensure patient safety and progress the timely release of our medicines globally.

The apprenticeship combines working, earning a full-time salary, with fully funded part-time **university** learning (on average 1 day/week). This will give you the opportunity to gain a BSc Degree in Applied Biosciences qualification, just as you would if you went to **university** full-time, with the advantage of gaining relevant work-life skills and the excitement of helping to develop new medicines whilst taking your first steps towards a rewarding career.

You'll gain transferable core skills and knowledge, in addition to gaining skills specific to the working practices of the team. The requirements of the Apprenticeship are designed to offer stretch and progression

**Entry Requirements**:

- Five GCSEs (or equivalent) grades 9-4 including Maths, English and Science.
- Applicants should have or predicted to achieve a minimum of 104 UCAS points at A-level (grades BCC), with one being Biology or an equivalent scientific discipline.

This is a 4 year Fixed Term Contract opportunity based at **Macclesfield** offering **£21,500 starting base salary + 11% benefits fund + bonus.**
